Retail judges have named the winners of the PATS 2026 New Product Awards. The awards followed judging at the show’s New Product Showcase on September 27. In a September 28 report, Pet Business World said more than 400 products were assessed across 12 categories for innovation, design, quality, packaging, value and sustainability.
Dog-focused winners span daily care
The dog-category winners included Naturaw’s Real Simple in dog food; Su Bridge’s Pure & Natural Doggy Bag Natural Chew Variety Pack in dog treats; Fidelis Dog’s Booster Enrichment Toy Range in accessories and toys; and the Truelove x That Dog Ultra-light Magnetic Top Harness in harnesses, leads and dog wear.
Two other awards covered everyday care: Oralade Active+ won the pet care category, while Hound Hose’s Portable Dog Washer won in grooming. Judges highlighted the harness’s magnetic design for owners with dexterity issues, the Booster range’s suitability for larger dogs, and the washer’s usefulness after muddy walks. Comments on Oralade Active+ pointed to hydration as a consideration during hot summers.
What the awards tell pet owners
The results offer a snapshot of products selected by a panel of pet retailers, with practical use and design among the published judging criteria. An award is not a substitute for checking a product’s current specifications, safety instructions or fit for an individual dog. The report describes retail judging and does not report independent clinical testing or long-term outcomes.
For WUMIBOX readers, the harness category is a reminder that ease of handling matters alongside the dog’s comfort and fit. Owners considering any support gear should check sizing and use instructions carefully, and ask their veterinarian when a dog has a diagnosed condition or a recent change in mobility.
